In this uncertain time, we want to take a moment to reaffirm our focus on serving those who rely on Summit Homes. In response to COVID-19, Nevada’s Governor Sisolak recently ordered the closure of non-essential businesses and a shelter-in-place measure for individuals to prevent the spread of the virus.
These orders had many of you asking questions about the daily operation of Summit Homes and our ability to serve you. The order given in Nevada has included a specific exception to these measures for businesses and individuals who are needed to maintain continuity of operation of essential needs, which include the “federal critical infrastructure sectors (as defined by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security), critical government services, schools, childcare, and construction, including housing construction”. (See https://covid19.ca.gov/stay-home-except-for-essential-needs/). We will comply and adjust to any new requirements should they occur.
Accordingly, based on these announcements made March 23, 2020, Summit Homes shall remain open under the order. Our commitment to our Buyers, Partners, and the communities we serve remains strong as always. In efforts to provide service and reliability unmatched in our industry, we are available by virtual meetings through video conference for all departments from sales to construction. Our team is always available by phone, text, email, or video conference.
I know these are uncertain times for many of us. Throughout history the people of North America (Canada, US, and Mexico) have always come together in times like these. We will get through this as we always do...together and strong. Today, tomorrow, and for years to come, Summit Homes and our employees will be here to serve you.
